Terms of Service
Article 1 (Purpose)
- These terms and conditions (hereinafter referred to as the "Terms") are intended to set forth the rights, obligations, and responsibilities of users and the service provider, Woosung Advanced Materials Co., Ltd. and Woosung Chemical Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as the "Service Provider"), when using the membership services provided on the website (hereinafter referred to as the "Service"), as well as other necessary matters.
- ① These Terms are publicly posted on the service interface or otherwise notified to users. By agreeing to these Terms and registering for the Service, they come into effect.
- ② The Service Provider may amend these Terms if deemed necessary. The amended Terms will be posted on the service interface so that users can directly check the changes.
- ③ If a user does not agree to the amended Terms, they may stop using the Service and cancel their membership. Continued use of the Service will be regarded as acceptance of the amended Terms, which will take effect in the same manner as described above.
- ④ When a user agrees to these Terms, these Terms shall primarily govern the provision of services by the Service Provider and the use of services by the user, taking precedence over the Service Provider’s Privacy Policy. Matters not specified in these Terms shall be governed by relevant laws of the Republic of Korea, including the Framework Act on Telecommunications, Personal Information Protection Act, Telecommunications Business Act, Act on Promotion of Information and Communications Network Utilization and Information Protection, Broadcasting Communications Review Regulations, Code of Ethics for Information and Communications, Program Protection Act, and customary practices.
Article 2 (Effectiveness and Amendments of Terms)
- ① These Terms become effective by being posted on the service interface or otherwise notified to users, and users’ registration to the Service constitutes their agreement.
- ② The Service Provider may amend these Terms if necessary, and the amended Terms will be posted on the service interface for users to review.
- ③ If a user does not agree with the amended Terms, they may stop using the Service and cancel their membership. Continued use will constitute agreement to the amended Terms, which will take effect as described above.
- ④ By agreeing to these Terms, users acknowledge that these Terms primarily govern the service provision and use, taking precedence over the Service Provider’s Privacy Policy. Matters not specified shall follow applicable laws and customary practices in the Republic of Korea.
Article 3 (Definitions)
- ① The definitions of terms used in these Terms are as follows:
- 1. User: Any member or non-member accessing the Service to receive services provided by the Service Provider.
- 2. Member: A person who has agreed to these Terms, received an ID (unique number) and password through verification procedures such as text authentication, and is registered with the Service.
- 3. Non-member: A person using the Service without registering as a member.
- 4. ID (Unique Number): A combination of letters and numbers selected by the user and approved by the Service Provider for identifying members and using the Service.
- 5. Password: A combination of letters and numbers set by the user to protect their information.
- 6. Termination of Use: A declaration by the Service Provider or the member to end the service usage contract.
- ② Terms not specifically defined in Clause 1 shall follow relevant laws and the Service-specific guidelines.
Article 4 (Formation of the Service Agreement)
The service agreement is established when the user agrees to the terms and the Service Provider accepts the user’s application.
Article 5 (Service Application)
Users may apply for service by completing the registration form with personal information required by the Service Provider on the service membership page.
Article 6 (Acceptance and Rejection of Service Application)
- ① The Service Provider may accept a service application if the user has accurately completed the application as defined in Article 5, according to internal rules.
- ② The Service Provider may restrict the use of some services until the reasons for limitations are resolved if any of the following occurs:
- 1. The information provided is found to be false (using another person's name, fake information), or reasonable suspicion exists.
- 2. Other cases deemed necessary by the Service Provider.
- ③ The Service Provider may refuse service applications in the following cases:
- 1. Application not made in the applicant’s real name.
- 2. Application using another person’s identity.
- 3. Providing false information in the application.
- 4. Acts or statements contrary to the purpose of the website.
- 5. Application intended to disturb public order or morals.
- 6. Failure to meet other application requirements set by the Service Provider.
Article 7 (Changes to Contract Information)
Members may view and update their personal information at any time through the membership management page. Members must update any changes to the information provided during registration. The member is responsible for any issues arising from failure to update their information.
